11:30 Arrival at “Mashaquipe” Ecolodge– welcome drink of natural local fruit juice – accommodation in lodges

14:30 Walk along “Dry Creek” Trail – view of a variety of plants to learn about their many uses for medicines, crafts and construction materials – view of some species of monkeys, peccaries, birds and many insects (all subject to season availability)

08:30 Preparation of camping equipment for two-night campout in the jungle – All camping equipment will be provided at lodge.

08:00 Departure on Trail to “Arenalito” Refuge – View of pecaries, macaws and other native birds
11:00 Arrival at “Arenalito” refuge

14:30 Walk to “Caquiahuara macaw Cliff” – view of parabas in natural nesting habitat from a high lookout, aswell as large native tres and plants
19:30 Dinner at refuge
20:30 Optional Night walk
05:00 Early rise to appreciate impressive sunrise and the sound of howler monkeys and birds greeting the new day

08:30 Walk to Tuichi River to experience building a log raft “Callapo”: rustic transportation of the indigenous people of the Amazon, and travel downriver on raft back to “Mashaquipe” Lodge.
Camping equipment will be transported on motorboat which will be available for tourists that may not wish to travel on log-raft
12:30 Lunch al “Mashaquipe” Lodge – local foods and traditional dishes – short rest
15:00 Optional activities: sport-fishing, local handycraft making, walk on short trails
19:30 Dinner at lodge – rest for the night

14:30 Boat trip along Yacuma river for sport-fishing, with great chance of catching piranhas and other native river fish – view of caimán, capybara, turtles and many bird species.
